The Graphic History Collective is pleased to announce that Part II of Kara Sievewright’s comic book for the Graphic History Project on Hobo, Wobbly, Mac-Pap Veteran, and Photographer, Bill Williamson, is now complete. Congrats, Kara!
Part II, along with Part I, will be featured as a complete comic book in the forthcoming publication Drawn to Change: Graphic Histories of Working-class Struggle with Between the Lines Press in early 2016. Mark Leier, a professor of left and labour history at Simon Fraser University, will also write an introduction to Kara’s comic for the collection.
For now, you can get a sense of Williams’ life by reading Part I here.
Also, make sure to check out a collection of historical images and documents from Bill’s life on Kara’s website, as well as Kara’s other amazing work generally.
