Deadman’s Island by Cynthia WilliamsRobinGHC2016-04-21T16:48:10+00:00

We love receiving comics from new creators and are happy to share this new mini-comic on the history of Deadman’s Island* from Cynthia Williams.

Cynthia Williams is a creative writing student at the University of British Columbia who primarily writes nonfiction. Deadman’s Island, Cynthia’s third attempt at a comic, explores the fascinating history of Deadman’s Island, while showing a glimpse of the oppression faced by the Coast Salish peoples that began with the first colonizers. Cynthia looks forward to working on new comics this year. You can reach her at cynthia.lc.williams [at] gmail.com
